3RD ANNUAL

“HOT AIR BALLOON DROP”

 

DATE OF SALE: May 5 – MAY 20

                      DATE OF DROP:  MAY 21 AT 8:00 A.M.               

HOW IT WORKS:  Each ticket sold will have the name, address and phone number of the purchaser.  Each ticket will be placed inside a plastic egg and sealed.  All the plastic eggs will be put in four large bags.  The bags will be taken up in the hot air balloon and then emptied from a height of appx. 100ft. The eggs will fall inside the track landing next to the labeled prize poles.  The egg closest to the pole is the winner.  (In the unlikely occurrence that more than one egg is touching or equal distance to the prize poles, the eggs will be placed in a box with the winning egg being the one drawn from the box).  The grand prize pole will be in the center with other prize poles randomly placed.  Our goal is to sell 5,000 tickets.

 

TICKET SALES:  Each student has a ziplock collection bag with his/her name and 10 tickets inside.  When tickets are sold, place the money and tickets inside and return to the homeroom teacher.  If you would like more tickets to sell, just indicate the number on the back side of this paper and return to school.  Please make sure when turning in the money/tickets that the label on the ziplock is still attached so we will know who to credit for the sale. If you do not wish to participate, please return the bag with tickets.  Parents may also come by the school office and request additional tickets.

 

TICKETS:  1 Ticket for $5 or 5 tickets for $20

Make sure name and phone # are on the ticket

Make sure information on the ticket is readable

Give the ticket coupon to the purchaser

The money must be turned in with the ticket

PARENTS:  We do not want you or your child to feel pressured or obligated to participate in fundraising.  Please keep in mind that fundraising is necessary for our students to be able to enjoy the many extra activities we have during the year.   Money from this fundraiser will be used to purchase text books, books and other instructional supplies and tools.  Your support is greatly appreciated.
